     Denise L. Grant, 52, of Peoria, passed away at 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at her residence.
     Denise was born on November 11, 1961 in Peoria, a daughter of Herbert and Rose (Fox) Sparkman. She married Steven Grant on September 26, 2013 in Peoria.
     She is survived by her husband of Peoria; parents of Creve Coeur; and three sisters, Debra Osmundson of Creve Coeur, Linda Orentsch of Pekin and Deanna Hieronynus of Creve Coeur.
     Denise graduated from East Peoria Community High School in 1979. She last worked for Bard Optical in Peoria as the manager of information technology.
     She loved being outdoors. She enjoyed camping and fishing and especially campfires. Denise was a great friend to many people. She never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.
     There will be no public visitation or service.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Denise’s memory to TAPS.
     Arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.

Although I was not close to Denise from knowing Allison I can truly say she was a beautiful woman and very loving. To all she knew and loved she will be with you forever. To Steve she will be forever  watching over you and loving you. Prayers are with you.
